Cristiano and the Cars

Although Cristiano has the pool, the play room, and some toys in our hotel suite, you can sense that he misses his toys.  The play room in the hotel doesn't have much and neither does our hotel suite.  Certainly nothing nearly enough to compare to what he has back home.  He's done very good at being creative with what he can find, and I will post about his creativity soon, but today I wanted to share what he did yesterday at the mall.

We were shopping at Zen, our favourite department store, and as we were shopping for toys for mom to take back home with her and for stuff for the boys for Christmas here, Cristiano got to the section with a bunch of cars.  As we were walking through the toy area he would stop at every stand that had sample toys set up for kids to play with but nothing was like what he did when he saw the cars.  Let me tell you, he tested every single one he could and the cutest thing was that he would go from one to another and say "haidi ahsan" "haid ahsan" which means, "this one is better".  He broke my heart!  He was so happy.

We waited for Michael to meet us there after work, then he hung out with him while mom and I continued our shopping.  It was really difficult to get him to leave.

We are thinking of buying him this one for Christmas

To top off how sad it was, Michael told me tonight that Cristiano woke up last night in the middle of the night saying, "haidi auto", which is "this car".  The poor guy was dreaming of the cars.  We really need to get him more toys, or maybe we just need to keep going back to the mall..lol!
