A Sad Day - Our First Day Without Teita

My mom left this morning very early at 4:30 a.m. from the hotel. It was really sad to see her leave and even more sad to wake up and not have her around.  Although Cristiano knew she left, and even gave her a kiss before bed time, he kept asking for her all day.  He would say, "teita waina" and would respond to himself by saying that she went in the plane to see jeddo Maxim ("teita, tiyarah, shouf jeddo Maxim").  Then he would say, "Cristiano ma3na".  This is his favourite thing to say these days.  It means, "Cristiano with us". Anywhere we go, even if it is to wash our hands, he says "Cristiano ma3na".  Such a funny kid!

It was so great having mom around. Not only because she was amazing help, but also because at this age I don't get to spend that much time with my parents back home.  Although I see them often, it is always pretty hectic.  This is why these last couple of weeks have been very special to me.  The best part is that the boys totally bonded with her as well.  She bonded with Cristiano because she was his stickers provider and because she would be the only one gutsy enough to swim in the freezing cold pool water with him.  She bonded with Adriano because she gave him his bed time bottle and she would make him laugh anytime he was cranky.

I'm happy she had a good time.  She definitely leaves looking great, having had the chance to get colour while she was here.

Here are a few moments we shared.

We miss you mom!!!  Come back with dad...
