Like I said, the balcony is a major highlight of this home. It is big enough for the kids to enjoy and has enough space for a wonderful gazebo. It is filled with beautifully scented flower trees and so much fresh basil. We have a view of nice buildings and because the buildings around us are not too high, it is very private and perfect for sun tanning (have I tempted anyone yet to come visit?!).
The boys have been having a great time on the balcony playing with the water. Cristiano has amazed us like last time we were here with how creative he can be with very little toys. He comes up with many ways to entertain himself on the balcony: watering the plants, washing his clothes, picking up the leaves, washing cars, doing foot massages, using the big leaves as wings of a butterfly, pretending the gazebo is a plane, etc. He is very entertaining. Adriano follows his brother or gets upset if his brother gets any water on him and he also truly enjoys the not so nice slippers we got him. He enjoys walking in them slowly because they are too big or enjoys flicking them off his feet. Because the weather has been relatively cool for Bangkok we have really been able to enjoy quite some time outdoors on the balcony. The kids will love the space more when their outdoor toys arrive from Canada.

As I write this post, Mike is outside enjoying a cool night under the gazebo and the ambiance lighting!
